I’m Back on X! (And What It Takes to Escape the Algorithm Jail)
If you’ve noticed a bit of radio silence or felt like my main account was playing hide-and-seek on Twitter/X lately (and you didn’t read my previous blog about this), you weren’t imagining things. I am incredibly relieved to say that my main account is officially back! @YesMissAJ YAY!
Getting an account restored these days feels next to impossible, and honestly, I could not have done it alone. I owe a massive, monumental thank you to the absolute Goddess, Katya (@GoddessKatya00).
When X gets your account stuck in a loop of constant flags, finding the root cause is a nightmare. It is virtually impossible to scroll back to the very beginning of your account history to locate the digital tripwires keeping you suppressed. Katya went through my profile with a fine-tooth comb, reviewing every single post, one by one, to clean up the wreckage.
What we discovered during the cleanup was eye-opening. A lot of the flags were triggered by ancient posts some where I used totally harmless slang like using the word “kill” in a completely non-violent, casual context (e.g.,"I'm going to kill this workout").
The problem? X is heavily moderated by AI.
As smart as technology is supposed to be, AI lacks nuance. It cannot contextually differentiate between a literal threat and everyday slang. When you pair that algorithmic literalism with an account that hosts BDSM and power exchange content, the AI is already on high alert, making it twice as likely to misinterpret completely benign words.
Once Katya helped me scrub those old posts (which felt like a total humiliation ritual having to reread btw LOL) and completely clean up the profile, I was finally able to successfully appeal and get my digital home back.
A Note for My Peers (Especially FinDom & Pro-Domme Accounts):
If you are also in the FinDom space, or you run an account that is more "PG/M15+" with the things you do and say rather than posting explicit content, this algorithm trap can still catch you. Trust me! Even before this clean I was pretty damn vanilla on the TL compared to most.
Let's be clear: if you are posting explicit adult content, you probably should have your sensitive content settings turned on anyway to ensure kids don't see your work. Otherwise keep your X as a marketing / networking tool and keep all your explicit media safely on your premium adult sites like LoyalFans etc. as it should be… you should be paid for it! If you already do this and you’re still getting hit with labels, warnings, or an aggressive shadowban, don't just assume it's bad luck. It's likely hidden algorithmic tripwires. And it can be fixed!
If your account is stuck in jail and you can't find a way out, I highly, highly recommend you go talk to Goddess Katya. She is an absolute lifesaver and has personally helped me out of a bind twice now. I cannot recommend her expertise highly enough.
While I am back, I’m not entirely out of the woods yet. Since Kourtney at X Support agreed tk set me free, I was given a strict set of temporary rules I have to follow to nurse my account back to full health and build normal interaction patterns.
To prevent the algorithm from immediately flagging me again, here is what my X / Twitter presence is going to look like for the next 2 to 4 weeks:
100% Safe-For-Work (SFW) Content: I am hitting the pause button on posting or re-posting anything that the system might consider borderline: including explicit adult content, nudity, suggestive images/videos, or fetish content.
Authentic, Original Posts: I'll be focusing on original updates, everyday thoughts, and standard business insights.
Genuine Engagement: I will be replying and interacting like a normal human being (real replies only, no automated patterns or spam-like behavior). Which I do already anyway.
No Aggressive Networking: I’m avoiding any mass following or unfollowing to ensure the AI doesn't mistake me for a bot.
Those are the exact rules they gave me to avoid their AI Moderation slapping me with another label or deboosting me.
Think of it as a brief tactical intermission. Once this probation period passes and the algorithm recognises the account as completely healthy, it will be back to business as usual!
